Dressage Working In and Test Riding Equestrian Event Notes

Notes

Come along to the Yorkshire Riding Centre in a calm and relaxed training environment.

The day is aimed at riders just starting their dressage competition journey, nervous riders, nervous horses and young horses working at Intro or Prelim level.

There will be a maximum of 6 combinations.

The day will start with an hours group session focusing on the working in arena, making a plan for working in, how to deal with nerves, how to deal with fellow competitors and how to time your working in.

There will then be a break for coffee and cake followed by an individual test riding session.

You will work in, then come and ride through the test of your choice which will be marked. You will then receive feedback, ride some movements then have the opportunity to ride through your test again.

There will be rosettes, sweats and chocolates for all.

Limited stabling will be available at an extra cost of £20 for the day - please contact Sarah Huntridge if you require a stable.
