Class 1. INTRO TO LEAD REIN: shorter course of
jumps not to exceed 30cm; accompanied on foot
by parent/sibling/friend

Class 2. LEAD REIN: full course of jumps not to
exceed 30cm; accompanied on foot by
parent/sibling/friend
- 6.00
Class 3 :RIDE A BUCK: jumps not to exceed 30 cm (on or off lead rein). Rider must try to
hold a dollar bill or 'buck' between their leg and the saddle whilst they jump the
course
Class 4 . WOBBLIES (off lead rein):
full course of jumps not to exceed 35 cm;
parent/sibling/friend may accompany on foot.

Class 5. FIRST RIDDEN: full course of jumps
not to exceed 40cm - 6.00
Class 6. NURSERY NOVICE: jumps not to exceed 45cm
(genuine novices only please!)

Class 7. ADULT ONLY CLASS: jumps not to
exceed 50cm. This class is strictly restricted to
riders of 21 years and over designed to encourage
nervous or novice riders or equines or those who
haven't jumped a course for a long time!

Class 8. NOVICE: jumps not to exceed 55cm - 6.00
Class 9. INTERMEDIATE: jumps not to
exceed 65cm - 6.00
Class 10. OPEN: jumps not to exceed 75cm. - 6.00
Clear Round starts 10.00am -

Winter Series Show Jumping Championships 2021-22

Oct 3rd – Nov 7th – Dec 5th – Final Mar 6th

Our long running Winter Series is back for its 14th year, open to ALL AGES. Benefit from an all-round professional Show Jumping experience, but in a relaxed, friendly, encouraging atmosphere.

4 events this time, you can join in all 4 events in the Series or just on dates which suit you!

NEW Online entry via horsemonkey.com (with entries on the day depending on availability). Pre-entry of competitors will allow us to provide more accurate class timings throughout the day.
We will open online entry for the next event in the Series after each previous event.


Each event is part of the points system for the overall Winter Series and all points earned will count towards your final total.

Our 4-event Show Jumping Championships is aimed at riders, horses and ponies of ALL AGES and experience:
o New to riding?
o Getting back into riding?
o Want to introduce your equine, or yourself, to Show jumping?
o Nervous rider, or equine?
o Looking to build up experience over the winter months?
o Don't have full Showing rider kit to wear?

Presented to the rider/pony/horse combination which has accrued the most points from selected classes
- The Fiona Mossan Trophy
Presented to the rider/pony/horse combination which has accrued the most points from selected classes
- The Niven Family Trophy
Presented to the most improved rider of the Series.

Event Terms & Conditions

COVID-19
Our show will operate within the current Covid 19 Government and Sport Scotland regulations and advice. We ask for your help with the following:

• PLEASE do not attend if you are displaying coronavirus symptoms.
• Please ensure face coverings are worn when indoors and we encourage you to respect social distancing.
• Surgical hand gel stations are widely available throughout the showground and also within the building.
• It is important that you follow signage and park and exit as directed by our marshals

Note: Any last-minute changes with regard to Covid will be advised on our website as well as via social media, always a good idea to check especially if you are coming from further afield.



GUIDELINES FOR VISITING WEST FENTON YARD
It is important that you follow the guidelines below when visiting our West Fenton yard in order to protect our ponies, thank you -

*PLEASE BRING YOUR PONY PASSPORT - SPOT CHECKS WILL BE TAKING PLACE.
*Please do not touch or pet any ponies in any fields on the yard.
*Please park only in the designated car parking areas as directed by our marshals.
If you are bringing your pet dog,
*Please keep all dogs on the lead at all times.
*Please keep all dogs well away from the ponies.
*Please deposit dog poo bags in the bins provided and under no circumstances leave any bags laying around the yard or Arena.
