Notes

On entry you will be required to upload the first page of your horses passport and the registered keeps page under additional documents When prompted please upload your entry image, this needs to be of your horse stood up in a bridle but no other tack ***Please note the Rule book can be downloaded from this event or you can visit https://www.seib.co.uk/competitions/ **** You can submit an image from a previous competition as long as it fits the judging criteria (stood-up with a bridle on) and you own the copyright. All photos entered must have been taken after 1st January 2018 ****Please note: No Stallions***
Top Tips for a good Picture 1. Stand the horse up in-hand with a well fitting bridle no other tack should be used 2. Stand the horse up square and on a level surface (not downhill or uphill) 3. Ensure the horse is square to the camera. If the horse is at an angle it can appear distorted or unbalanced in the picture. 4. The best side is the near-side from which to view the horse at first 5. A "cheerful" picture is much more helpful than an "unhappy" one ideally ears will be pricked and the horse will be alert. 6. Ensure the horse is well presented i.e clean and well groomed 7. Ensure a clear view of the limbs is possible i.e there is a lot of tail then be sure to not let it "hide" the hocks 8. Always have the feet neatly trimmed if bare or be well shod 9. Avoid "painting"the feet simply use a clear oil, this is enough 10. Always make sure the horse is not too far away, or too close, so the picture is a good representation to assess
