SESDG Christmas Open 'At Home' Dressage Show

We are delighted to be running our first ever SESDG Online Dressage Show! We wanted to finish off a rubbish year with a bit of fun and festive cheer! Plus we love giving away fabulous rugs and sashes in our Prize classes! Classes for everyone; from Intro to FEI PYO. Classes up to Advanced Medium are all 40m arena tests to make it accessible for everyone, and the FEI PYO in a 60m arena. British Dressage judges being used, Medium above will be judged by leading National List 1 judge with full feedback. How to submit your video: 1. Videos should be uploaded directly to YouTube (or similar file sharing website) and the link must be added to Horse Monkey when submitting your entry. Make sure you set your video settings to unlisted (only the person with the link can watch) or public. You should not use a video of a test performed at a previous competition. 2. The person filming must stand behind C (so far as it is possible). The rider enters the arena at the far end at A riding towards the camera, where the judge would normally be sitting. Ensure the camera is able to pick up the whole profile of the horse. 3. You can film on a smart phone, tablet or video camera. If using a smart phone or tablet, hold it in landscape. 4. Please ensure you adhere to the current Covid restrictions and guidance when filming your test, especially if you are travelling for arena hire. 5. Casual dress. Competition wear, fancy dress, tinsel or Christmas jumper is optional - but we will have a prize for the best dressed! Results will be published on Horse Monkey, with prizes and test sheets posted, within a week of the competition closing. Please note: * Competition will be ran under BRC Rules and eligibility. * Rider & Horse combinations entering the Intro Prize class are not eligible to enter the Prelim Prize or above. * Prize class winning combinations may not compete at the same level or below in the current or future years i.e Winner of Prelim Prize Class can not compete in the Intro or Prelim Prize classes on the same horse in future years. * Judges decisions are final. Prize classes will be used to decide winners of the 2020 SESDG Perpetual Trophy winners. SESDG Members - please stipulate if you are under 18 years old, over 40 years old, riding a Veteran horse (15 and over) or Young horse (6 and under) in the notes section.
