Wilmslow Riding Club – Conditions for Dressage & Combined Training July 2020
Important - Do not enter the show ground if you or anyone you have been in contact with is showing signs of Covid-19
1. Remember to bring your number – we cannot provide one on the day if you forget.
2. Only one helper per horse, in addition to the rider. If the rider is under 12, or disabled, one extra helper is allowed. This helper is the only one who may read the test. Do not bring anyone else with you.
3. Please park 5 metres apart, tying up on the left side.
4. When you have parked, please text the secretary Hilary on 07840781393 to declare.
5. Please stay with your wagon / trailer when not competing or using the facilities. No congregating anywhere on the show ground.
6. There is a one-way system in place for horses and pedestrians. You must use it. Please allow enough time to reach your arena/ring.
7. Remember social distancing at all times, mounted or on foot. Sanitisers will be at the ring entrances, by the toilets and by the pavilion. Hand washing facilities will be by the tap (near the toilets). Please use these regularly.
8. You will be given times for your dressage (please adhere to these) and the show jumping. We cannot make any alterations to times on the day, though you may go early in the show jumping if the course is set at your height.
9. There will be NO clear rounds in the show jumping at this event.
10. The show jumping ring will have In and Out gates. The In gate will be in the collecting ring. You may not have your helper in the collecting ring, only five riders at a time. The steward in this ring will adjust the fences for you. Because of the limit on numbers, please do not enter the collecting ring until you are called.
11. When you have finished please load up and leave the ground as soon as possible.
12. Results will be posted on Horsemonkey, FaceBook and our website, www.wilmslowridingclub.cu.uk.
13. Test sheets and rosettes will be posted out on the Monday after the event.
For this event to take place and be Covid compliant, all these conditions must be strictly adhered to. Members of the Committee will be on site in high viz jackets if you need more information.
We hope you have an enjoyable and successful day. Thank you for your assistance.
