How Arena Eventing Works …Competitors will compete in a dressage and jumping phase. Scores from the dressage will be converted into penalties, which will be carried forward to the SJ and XC phase. There will be penalties on the XC for going too slow, and refusals and knock downs
Knock down = 4 faults
1st refusal = 4 faults
2nd refusal = 8 fault
3rd refusal = Elimination
Rider fall = Elimination
