As well as the dressage competition there will be a tombola/raffle, equestrian book stall, cakes and refreshments - donations to these will be most welcome. All proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support, Equine Grass Sickness Fund and Malawi Foundation for Children.

Terms & conditions

• Rider/horse combinations are restricted to 2 tests per combination.
• The intro classes are to encourage inexperienced riders and horses to take part in dressage competitions. These classes are intended particularly for those horse and rider combinations that are not proficient at cantering a 20 metre circle.

• The intro classes are to encourage inexperienced riders and horses to take part in dressage competitions. These classes are intended particularly for those horse and rider combinations that are not proficient at cantering a 20 metre circle.
• It is not possible to enter both the intro and prelim restricted classes. If entering prelim and intro, the intro must be entered in the open section. Likewise, if entering the novice class the prelim must be entered in the open section. The restricted sections are intended for riders who are not yet ready to move up to the next level.
• All competitions are run under the current British Dressage Rules and all Riding Hats must comply with the current British Riding Club Rules/ British Dressage Rules. Harnesses must be correctly adjusted and fastened. Protective Headwear should carry the quality assurance stamp of kite mark or SEI and must meet any new standard that meets or exceeds those stated in the Rules of BRC and BD. The exception to this is Class 10 to allow competitors under the age of 12 to participate but will comply with BD rules otherwise.

• We regret that no refunds will be given after the closing date.
• We ask all riders to be considerate and keep the horsebox/trailer parking area clean. Please collect and take home litter and horse droppings. Please keep dogs under control at all times.
• While we try to have a First Aider present, we cannot guarantee that one will always be in attendance.
• All riders ride at their own risk.
• Riders under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
