Information and Show Rules

2. The judge and organiser’s decision is final. Any objections must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident.
3. Organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry without reason, to cancel or alter any class, section or competition as they see fit without needing to give a reason & In the interest of biosecurity, Cow City Livery may refuse entry to horses/ponies stabled at yards with a known communicable disease.
4. SJ classes will be run under BS rules.
5. Dressage classes will run under BD rules.
6. Cow City Livery, organisers, staff & helpers, & officials will not accept liability for injury, damage or loss that occurs to horse, rider, spectator or vehicle howsoever caused.
7. Please observe and abide by yard signs indicating any areas that are restricted to liveries only. Please do not bring dogs onto the yard.
8. Any withdrawals made before the close of entries 27th June will be refunded 50% of the entry fee. No refunds given after close of entries unless vet’s/doctor’s certificate.
9. Correct riding attire and hard hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted anywhere on the showground. Acceptable hard hats standards are; PAS 015: 1998 or 2011 with BSI Kitemark, ASTM F1163, SNELL E2001.
10. Lunging is NOT permitted.
11. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
12. All vehicles must be driven slowly and carefully when entering, leaving and whilst on the yard at all times.
13. Any incidents/accidents must be reported to the secretary.
14. Gates must be kept closed at all times.
15. Please take your litter home with you & please remove droppings from the Lorry Park.
16. Horses and Ponies under the age of 4 are not allowed to compete with the exception of showing in hand classes.
