EQUIFEST QUALIFIERS: The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be held at the East of England Showground on the 17th – 21st August 2016. Classes 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 qualify for: 1. LIZ CROSS SHOW TEAM/ EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND Open to In Hand Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. Classes 24, 25, 26, and 27 qualify for: 2. THE HEWITT FAMILY / EQUIFESTOPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over.Rider any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. Class 37 qualifies for: 17. NUPAFEED / EQUIFEST RIDDEN COBS Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as follows: • Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. • Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Classes 35 and 36 qualify for: 22. BSPA / EQUIFEST RIDDEN PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championship. Subject to their show rules & conditions. Classes may be divided according to entries. Classes 12 and 13 qualify for: 23. BSPA / EQUIFEST IN HAND PIEBALD / SKEWBALD Open in Hand Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championships. • The organisers will not hold themselves responsible for any accidents,
loss or damage to competitors, animals, vehicles or other property for
any reason what so ever.

• Any person wishing to make a complain, must do so on the day of the event accompanied by £20 administration fee. This will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
• Entry fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Excessive use of whips is forbidden and will result in disqualification. Whips must be of regulation length.
• Competitors must be correctly dressed and hard riding hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
• Galloping is forbidden outside the arenas.
• The decision of the judges is final once the result sheet is signed.
• Any person thought to be excessively or unnecessarily abusing any official will be escorted of the premises.
• Cruelty of any kind to any animal will not be tolerated.
• No dogs are allowed on the show ground.
• Children must be supervised by an adult and not be allowed to play on or around farm equipment.
• In the event of a clash of times of classes it is the responsibility of the competitor to decide in which class to compete. Entry fees will not be refunded.
• Stallions will only be permitted if well behaved and with a competent adult rider/handler over 16 years.
• The judge has the right to disqualify unruly animals.
• The organisers and judges reserve the right to refuse an entry in the event of any unsoundness such as lameness, coughingand dangerous behaviour.
• All judges are selected for their experience and professionalism; their decisions should therefore be respected.
• Bad language will not be tolerated.
