RULES
1.
2. Hard hats which comply with the current safety standard MUST be worn at all times whilst
mounted on the showground.
3. No lunging allowed on the showground.
4. Practice fences will be marked and must be jumped in correct direction.
5. Complaints of any nature must be logged in writing with the secretary with a £15 deposit within

3. No lunging allowed on the showground.
4. Practice fences will be marked and must be jumped in correct direction.

one hour of the class finishing. If the objection is proved correct the £15 deposit will be refunded.
6. Misuse of whips/spurs or any bad language will entail elimination.
7. No Horse maybe entered more than once in any class with the same rider.
8. Horses must be over the age of 4 to compete in any show jumping class.
9. Saddlesdane Equestrian Centre reserves the rights to refuse entry or make changes to a class
without stating a reason.
10. Anyone who is seen to be riding in a manner likely to endanger themselves, their horse or others
will be asked to leave the showground.
11. The Judges decision is final.
12. NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED IN THE RETAIL SHOP AREA OR INDOOR ARENA AT ANY TIME.
13. No mucking out of Horseboxes / Trailers on the showground.
14. No Horses to be tied up outside Horseboxes/Trailers.
15. In accordance with B.S Rule 82.21 no persons shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible
as owner, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping
competition without taking adequate precaution to ensure other competitors and members of the
public are not at risk of injury.
16. No entries can be refunded unless either a medical or veterinary certificate is produced or
exceptional circumstances and the events managers discretion.
17. Saddlesdane Equestrian Centre cannot accept any liability for any accidents/injury to competitors,
onlookers, horses or property. Riding is a high risk sport and is undertaken at your own risk.Show less
