Terms & Conditions – Arena Hire
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 All arena hire sessions must be booked in advance.
1.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
1.3 Bookings are non-transferable without prior written permission.
1.4 The management reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.

 
2. Cance

1.4 The management reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.

 
2. Cancellations & Refunds
2.1 Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking time will receive a full refund or credit.
2.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking are non-refundable.
2.3 No refunds will be given for non-attendance or late arrival.
2.4 In the event of severe weather, unsafe ground conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, the management reserves the right to cancel the hire. In this case, a refund or rescheduled booking will be offered.
2.5 Refunds are not given for early departure or unused time.

 
3. Arena Use
3.1 The arena may only be used during the booked time slot.
3.2 Only the number of horses and riders agreed at the time of booking may use the arena.
3.3 If hiring the arena without jumps, poles and jumps are permitted to be used but must be returned to their storage positon at the end of the hire. 
3.4 Our courses are professionally designed by a Show Jumping Coach. Please do not alter any distances of jump positions.
3.5 No alteration to the arena surface or equipment is permitted without consent.
3.6 Lunging is only permitted if explicitly agreed in advance.

 
4. Safety & Conduct
4.1 All riders ride entirely at their own risk.
4.2 Approved riding hats conforming to current safety standards must be worn at all times when mounted.
4.3 Riders must ensure their horse is fit, healthy, and suitably trained for the activity.
4.4 Any horse known to kick, bite, rear, or behave dangerously must be clearly marked and disclosed.
4.5 The management may require any rider or horse to leave the arena if their behaviour is deemed unsafe.
4.6 Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
4.7 Children must be supervised at all times.

 
5. Liability
5.1 The management accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to riders, horses, vehicles, equipment, or personal belongings, except where caused by proven negligence.
5.2 By hiring the arena, users agree to indemnify the management against all claims arising from their use of the facilities.
5.3 Riders are strongly advised to hold their own public liability and personal accident insurance.

 
6. Health & Biosecurity
6.1 All horses using the arena must be up to date with vaccinations and free from contagious disease.
6.2 Any horse showing signs of illness must not attend the facility.
6.3 Users must not allow their horse to come into contact with any of the livery horses.

 
7. Vehicles & Parking
7.1 Vehicles and horseboxes must be parked in designated areas only.
7.2 The management accepts no liability for loss or damage to vehicles or trailers.

 
8. Facility Rules
8.1 Smoking is prohibited in or around the arena and stables.
8.2 No litter is to be left on site; droppings must be cleared from parking and common areas.
8.3 All users must follow instructions given by the facility staff or management.

 
9. Acceptance of Terms
9.1 By making a booking, all riders, owners, and accompanying persons confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
9.2 These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without notice.
