Competition Format:

All double clears are guaranteed a space at the Final.

There will two Academy qualifying competitions in 2026.  The first is on Saturday 28th February, and the second consists of the final day of Camp on Friday 10th April at Morris EC.  This is to allow Academy members, rider/pony/horse combinations, a chance to qualify if: they did not succeed the first time, if the pony/horse has changed since the first show or if unable to attend the first show.

No pony/horse substitutions for the final unless a current pony/horse/rider record can be supplied at the relevant height.

Please note for final: Riders can compete only once within each separate team and a maximum of twice per class. Ponies/Horses may only compete once in any (Team/Individual) competition.

Both days will consist of warm-up classes followed by the qualifying competitions for the final at Stoneleigh. The result of the team(s) to represent Scotland at the final will be decided on the results after both competitions.

For the Camp Show, the Team members will be selected as follows: each Team will be made up of three riders from the Scottish Academy Camp attendees and the fourth place to either a Camp attendee or an external Academy competitor who has taken part only in the last day’s competition depending on the results.
