Assisted Clear Round
Classes from 40cm - 100cm
Junior Sections - These are for competitors aged 16 and Under riding a 14.2h and under
Senior Sections - For any age riding a horse over 14.2h
HOW IT WORKS
There will be no more than 20 jumping efforts
The whole round will be timed
The winner will be the competitor with the lowest number of penalties
In the event of a tie the winner will be the one closest to the optimum time
The optimum time is calculated based on a speed of 350m per minute
Stop watches are not permitted
Penalties will be given as follows:
First disobedience - 4 penalties
Second disobedience at same fence - 8 penalties
Third disobedience - Elimination
Knock down of obstacle - 4 penalties
Fall of horse - Elimination
Fall of rider - Elimination
Every commenced second in excess of the
optimum time - 0.4 penalties
Every commenced second in excess of 5
seconds under the optimum time - 0.4 penalties
Exceeding time allowed* - Elimination
Error of course - Elimination
Retaking obstacle already jumped - Elimination
* Time allowed is twice the optimum time.
The judge’s decision is final.
- PLENTY OF HELP ON HAND THOUGH EVRYONE ALWAYS GETS TO FINISH
- TIMES WILL BE RELEASED ON SATURDAY BEFORE THE EVENT BY 12PM
- THERE WILL BE ALLOCATED COURSE WALKS FOR EACH CLASS
- NUMBER DISCS OR NUMBER BIBS TO BE WORN (printed of at home not provided)
- PEAKLESS HATS (Skull cap) & BODY PROTECTORS TO BE WORN
- JUDGES SAY IS FINAL
- ROSETTES TO 6TH PLACE TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY
Refund policy
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED AFTER 1 WEEK BEFORE ENTRIES CLOSED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!
