Horses must meet BRC flu vaccination requirements. You will need to provide evidence to the organiser at least 1 week prior to camp start date.

All tack & rider dress need to be BRC rules for the discipline being undertaken. This includes hat standards & body protector requirements for cross country.

CREC Day Camp involves approximately 2-3 hours of riding over the course of the day. Both rider and horse need to have appropriate levels of fitness to complete this safely.

All attendees agree to leave the School, camp site & stabling as found and take any rubbish/recycling home.

 

Rules

1. This competition will run under British Riding Club rules. http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/brc-handbook

2. Flu Vaccinations. All competing horses and ponies must have received a completed course of flu vaccination within the last 12 months. Proof of this must be uploaded with entry. 

3. Health and Safety. The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure health, safety and welfare of everyone at the event. For these measures to be effective everyone attending must also take reasonable precautions to avoid accidents occurring and must obey stewards and organisers at all times. 

4. Hats, Body Protectors and Equipment. Hats meeting the current standards must be worn at all times whilst mounted. Body protectors are also advised. Up to date standards ca be found in the BRC Handbook and on the website.

5. Abuse. Any person seen to mistreat their horse/pony or misuse whips/spurs or use bad language will disqualified from their class and asked to leave the showground.

6. All horses and ponies must be 2 years old and over.

8. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them at all times.

9. Refund Policy. There will be no return of entry fees unless the event is cancelled or if a valid medical or veterinary certificate is produced. This will only be possible where funds have not already been spent in event set up. 

 

10. Insurance. I understand that British Riding Club insurance covers Riding Club members only and by entering as a non-member, I confirm I have my own relevant insurance including public liability. 

Entry constitutes acceptance of these rules and conditions.
