Entries may be taken on the day for additional Ridden and Working Hunter Classes depending on class numbers.

Findon Riding Club members please ensure you enter your membership number in the Organisers Membership field for the discount to be applied where applicable.
1. Rosettes will be awarded for 1st to 6th place.

4. WH classes will be judged 60% on jumping style and performance and 40% for conformation. No change of saddlery will be permitted throughout the competition. Any suitable bridle may be worn although we would prefer 4-year olds to be shown in a snaffle.
5. If in the event of there being large entries in the Working Hunter classes, horse/pony and rider combinations may be restricted to entering one Working Hunter class only.
6. The committee reserves the right to alter, divide or cancel any of the classes, and to transfer entries, which in their opinion are in the wrong class, with or without giving a reason.
7. Findon Riding Club will not be held responsible for any complaint regarding horses or ponies entered in the wrong class but will act as a mediator provided the complainant has proof on the day of the show.
8. At or in the vicinity of any Findon Riding Club event, everyone mounted, whether competing or not must wear a hard hat conforming to the minimum safety standards, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur elimination of the horse and/or rider from the competition. Hats must be marked to standard as per BRC rules. Where a hat is of skull cap style, this must be worn with a plain silk.

Disclaimer of liability – save for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the British Horse Society, nor the agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.
