PONY CLUB RULES

The Team Competition – open to teams that must consist of three or four Members from each Branch/Centre of The Pony Club in Great Britain and Northern Ireland (only the best three scores of each team are counted, but at least three members must complete the competition).
Area Teams - if a Branch has a Member/s who are not included in a team, they may combine with one or more Branches/Centres in a similar situation to form a team to compete at the Area Competition. These teams can only be put together by the Area Representative and/or Area Organiser. This team shall be eligible to qualify for the Championships. Should an Area Team qualify for the Championships, then the next placed eligible Branch Team shall also qualify.
ALL BRANCHES WILL BE NOTIFIED AFTER CLOSING TO CONFIRM TEAM NAME AND MEMBERS, SO ON ENTRY PLEASE STIPULATE BRANCH NAME ONLY
Reasonable Adjustment
At The Pony Club, we are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all members, parents, volunteers, officials and stakeholders irrespective of age, gender reassignment, disability, race or ethnicity. Reasonable Adjustment can be requested by following the process outlined in the Reasonable Adjustment Policy. Spurs 2025 Rule
All competitors wearing Spurs must present their yellow hat tag on entering the warm up. Anyone competing wearing spurs without a yellow hat tag will be asked to remove their spurs. Misuse of the spurs anywhere at this event will result in disqualification and the removal of yellow hat tag.
Stabling
To be booked direct with Morris Equestrian, not guaranteed but if you specify your Area on booking Morris will try to group Area stables together.

Photographic Rights
Competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of the Pony Club.
Passport and Vaccinations
A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Vaccination Rule 2025.
Legal liability
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health, Safety & Welfare
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
Withdrawals
If an Individual, Branch or Centre withdraws a team or individual prior to the closing date of 30 June, a full refund of entry will be made, less an administration charge. Withdrawals after the closing date, will not be refunded.
Abandonment
In the event of a competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry fee will be given. In such an instance the refund process will be communicated and must be followed.
