Riders are permitted to wear their cross country colours for both the Show Jumping and Cross Country sections.
The Cross Country fences have been inspected and approved by a British Eventing Course Designer.
Winner Determination: The winner will be the rider who is closest to the optimum time with the fewest faults.
Show Jumping:
4 faults for a knockdown
4 faults for a refusal
Elimination after 3 refusals
Cross Country:
First refusal, run out, or turning a circle in front of a fence or between a combination: 20 penalty points
Second refusal, run out, or turning a circle in front of a fence or between a combination: 40 penalty points
For every commenced second in excess of the optimum time: 0.4 penalty points
For every commenced second in excess of 15 seconds under the optimum time: 0.4 penalty points
Riding Hats: All participants must wear riding hats with non-fixed peaks that meet current safety standards during the Show Jumping and Cross Country phases.
Body Protectors: Up-to-standard body protectors are mandatory for both the Show Jumping and Cross Country phases.
Riding at Own Risk: Participants acknowledge and accept that they are riding at their own risk. While safety protocols are in place, individual caution and responsibility are crucial.
Refunds: No refunds will be issued after the close of entries. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure the smooth organisation and administration of the event.
By entering this event, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
Compliance: Participants must comply with all event regulations, including dress code and safety equipment requirements.
Risk Acceptance: Participants accept that they are riding at their own risk and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with equestrian activities.
Safety Assurance: Participants agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by event officials and course designers.
Non-Refundable Entry: Participants understand and agree that no refunds will be issued after the close of entries, regardless of circumstances.
Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event organisers, officials, and property owners from any and all claims arising from participation in the event.
Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for ensuring their equipment meets current safety standards and that they are physically and mentally fit to compete.
Inspection: The cross country fences have been thoroughly inspected and approved by a British Eventing Course Designer to ensure they meet safety and competitive standards.
Attire:
Dressage: Standard dressage attire is required for the Dressage phase.
Show Jumping & Cross Country: Riders may wear their cross country colours for the combined Show Jumping and Cross Country phases.
