Rules

Correct and safe dress to be worn at all times

Riding boots with a heel and a hat to current standard with 3 point harness must be worn at all times when mounted

Riders age as of 1st January 2025

Any objection must be made in writing together with a deposit of £15 which will only be refunded if the objection is upheld
5
Dogs must be kept on a short lead and under control at all times. Please pick up and dispose appropriately of any dog muck immediately
6
Photographers in attentance - please notify them if you do not wish to be photographed
7
THE JUDGES' DECISION IS FINAL in any competition
8
Entire males 2 year old or over must be bitted at all times on the showfield
9
Competitors 16 years and under must wear a hard hat when handling any equine in any classes.
10
No entire male equines allowed in Young Handler classes
11
Gate to the field to be kept closed at all times.
12. Back protectors advised for any jump or Working Hunter classes
LEGAL LIABILITY
The Gower Riding Club nor any representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liablility for any accident, loss, damage injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars their contents or accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contractor in any other way whatsoever.
ENTRIES ARE ONLY ACCEPTED ON THIS BASIS
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable measures to avoid and prevent accidents. All displayed instructions, safety notices and instructions given by Judges and officials MUST BE complied with. Everyone must have their own third party insurance cover. Gower Riding Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible.
On no account are competitors allowed to jump the cross country fences. You will be asked to leave the showground immediately if you do try to ride over the cross country course

We have a no refund policy. However, should the show be cancelled by the orgnaisers, refunds will be issued in full.
