Enter for an enjoyable, competitive hunter trial over fabulous well designed courses.
Now a qualifier for Eland Lodge National Hunter Trial Championships to be held in Sept 25th 2025
The course will be open for walking from 2pm on Saturday 17th May 2025
Times will not be given however Novice will start at 10 am and estimated Intermediate and Open start times will be published on Facebook @fndfunrides on Friday 16th
Rosettes and prizes in kind
Special rosettes for the best Flint and Denbigh Hunt Pony Club member in each class
Plus the competition for The Commander Heaton Challenge Cup to be held for one year
Refreshments will be available by Bite the Bit Catering.

Closing date for entries Wednesday May 14th 2025. Please note entries will close earlier if full capacity is reached earlier.

First Aid Contribution per rider/entry £3 – A qualified First Aider will be on site all day.
BE type bibs will be required. Please bring your own. Numbers to be picked up at secretaries’ office

Dress: Hats must be recognised BE Standard; Hunting dress or cross-country colours; long sleeves
Up to date Body protectors are compulsory for all competitors
Dogs must always be on leads
A medical arm band is recommended for all competitors

Objections must be made in writing with a £10 deposit. The deposit will be returned if the objection is sustained.
The organiser reserves the right to alter the schedule, refuse any entry and to cancel any class, also to disqualify anyone for the misuse of whip, spurs, dangerous riding, or any horse in poor or lame condition.
The Flint and Denbigh Hunt, Mostyn Farm Ride, nor any person acting on their behalf, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage or injury or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators, land, vehicles, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
No horse/pony may be ridden by more than one competitor in any one class. It is advised that horses/ponies should not go round more than twice on the day.
