• All riders must ensure they are wearing a hard hat, fastened, at all times when mounted and this must be of an approved standard.
• All riders must wear the correct footwear for riding. Juniors must wear a body protector.
• All riders must sign the disclaimer when entering the ride.

• All riders must wear the number provided by the organisers at all times when riding the route.
• All riders must follow the directed route.
HORSES AND PONIES
• All horses and ponies must be a minimum of 4 years old
• All horses and ponies must be in good condition and be fit enough to carry out the work required.
• All horses’ and ponies’ hooves must be shod or dressed correctly.
• All tack worn must be in a safe, serviceable condition.
GENERAL
• An adult must accompany all children under the age of 16.
• The decision of the ride organisers is final
. Marshalls’ instructions must be adhered to at all times as they are there for the health and safety of all.
• It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure the steward receives your number.
• The exact indicated ride route must be kept to. Maximum 3 attempts at a jump.
• Follow the countryside code at all times – no litter.
• Please remove rubbish and horse droppings from around your trailer/lorry and take it home with you!
• When approaching other riders please slow to a walk – when coming from behind please warn them of you intention to pass.
