This is the final team selection day for the Suffolk County team, selected to ride at the Inter County Challenge, 12-13th July, Bury Farm July 2025.
12 riders will be selected after this event – 2 Intro, 4 Prelim, 4 Novice, 2 Elementary.
Please check that you are available to compete at the team event in July, should you be selected. Please also check your eligibility – the schedule and criteria have been sent to those invited before the event.
THE FORMAT
You will be warmed up in the outdoor arena, with some assistance from coach Tammy Ruffles. You will then be invited indoors to ride your test. Our judge for the day is BD judge, Debbie Tate. Following your test you will receive a quick feedback session with coach Ruth Hurst, who is also a List 4 dressage judge. Scores and results will be posted outside the café area. The top two combinations in Prelim, Novice and the first placing in Intro and Elementary will automatically make the final team, the remaining team members will be selected at the coach and county coordinator’s discretion. All riders will be informed of the final team outcome over the selection weekend. Unmounted Prize givings will be 35 mins after the final rider in your section has completed their test.

· Dress: normal competition wear, plait if you wish.
· Run and judged under BD rules
· Photography – our resident photographer Carol Street will be in attendance

· Rosettes for placings 1-6th will be awarded in each section.
