All Mountain & Moorland and Part-Bred ponies must be registered with their respective Breed Society. Mountain & Moorland ponies must be shown unplaited but Part-Beds may be plaited.
Points towards the Annual Awards will only be awarded to fully paid up members of the Society.

All stallions and colts, two years or over, must hold a Stallion Licence, unless otherwise governed by their individual Breed Society.
All colts and stallions must display a stallion bridle marker disk.
All ponies in ridden classes must be 4 years or over (all horses/ponies are deemed to be a year older on 1st January each year)
No pony may be shown on a leading rein except where stated.
Classes may be amalgamated at the discretion of the Committee if insufficient entries are
received.
This show is run under the BHS Code of Practice for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies. (The full code can be downloaded from the BHS website www.bhs.org.uk)
Equine welfare is of paramount importance and all riders must at all times be of an appropriate size and weight for the type/height of horse/pony being ridden which includes horses/ponies being warmed up and/or exercised anywhere on the show ground.

All competitors must, at all times when mounted, wear correctly fitting BSI approved hats conforming to PAS 015 or above.
Hard hats must be worn by all competitors taking part in in-hand showing classes.
Neither the landowner nor the organisers can be held responsible for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, to any person, animal or property whilst on the show premises.
The Society reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving a reason and to ask any exhibitor behaving in a manner prejudicial to the good name of the Society to leave the show premises.
Any objection to be handed to the Secretary in writing within ten minutes of the incident accompanied by a deposit of £10.00 which will be refundable if the objection is sustained.
