Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, Strathearn Eventing, nor any agent, employee or representatives of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The Organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser or anyone help run the event/training.

RULES FOR CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING/EVENTS

You herby undertake that in relation to any riding activity/facilities provided by Strathearn Eventing Ltd:

You will take all reasonable care to ensure your own health and safety and that of any other person/rider who may be affected by anything you do or fail to do.

You consider yourself to be fit enough to participate in the activities and prior to participating you will bring to the attention of the instructor/event manager/organiser/proprietors any medical or special needs which you have and may affect your ability to ride.

You will ensure you will be wearing and you will ensure those under 16 in your care will be wearing appropriate and well fitting riding wear.  SKULL CAPS & BODY PROTECTORS UP TO THE CURENT STANDARD are MANDATORY for cross country and it is the responsibility of yourself to ensure the fit of these items.

You also confirm that:

You accept that activities involved with riding horses give rise to risk of injury.

You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and by entering on line you accept these conditions for my entry to be accepted.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation by organisers there will be a full refund less an administration fee of 15%.

If rider withdraws 7 days or more prior to the event date there will be a full refund less an administration fee of 15%.

There will be no refund if the rider withdraws less than 7 days prior to the event date. If the slot can be filled then a full refund less 5% administration fee will be made.
