Our Pick A Fence Courses
We have 2 courses at Tyninghame.
Our MAIN cross country course it suitable for those riders who are confident cantering in open spaces. The fences are approximately 50cm, 75cm and 90cm, you choose which height you jump at each fence.
This course is available for all ELPC members, non-ELPC riders under 18yrs and Adults to enter.
Our new MINI cross country course is suitable for those TRUE NOVICE riders i.e. lead rein, younger or inexperienced riders who require the security of riding in a roped 'arena'. Jumps are approximately 30-40cm, you choose whether to jump or go round and on to the next one.
This course is available for all ELPC members and non-ELPC riders under 18yrs to enter.
This course is not available for adults.
Rosettes for MINI & MAIN Cross Country classes:
'ClearRound/Well done' rosettes will be awarded for the lead rein & assisted riders in the MINI course.
Rosettes from 1st - 6th will be awarded in the MINI independent riders.
Rosettes from 1st - 6th will be awarded for all classes in the MAIN cross country PAF competition.

Clear Round Show Jumping
Show jumping classes are available for all riders.
Classes are:
1 - 20cm
2 - 30cm
3 - 40cm
4 - 55cm
5 - 65cm
6 - 80cm
7 - 90cm
Directional assistance permitted in classes 1-3. Riders entering classes 4-7 are expected to be able to complete the course independently but help is available if required.
Riders are limited to jump in 2 SJ classes & 1 PAF class.
If any rider is NOT competing in any cross country class, they may enter 3 SJ classes.
Class eligibility restrictions apply. Please read SJ notes on schedule carefully.

This competition is being run under Pony Club rules.
Back protectors MUST be BETA 2018 Level 3 and whips MUST be 'padded' (45-70cm in length) for SJ and PAF. You will not be allowed to compete with other standards.
All rules, Terms and Conditions are in the schedule which is attached.
Please print your own number, bibs will be available to borrow if required.
Times will be on Horse Monkey on Friday 25th April and on display at Tynninghame on Saturday.
Both the mini course and the main course will be open from 2pm on Saturday 26th to walk.
