60cm Clear Round will start at approx. 5.30pm. Clear Round entries will be strictly limited. As this is an evening event - due to time constraints, entries may close early if we reach maxiumum capacity time wise.
Jump times will be published approx. 10am the Tuesday before the event. A link for times will be published on Facebook and all competitors will receive notification of times via Horse Monkey.
This competition will be run in accordance with BS Club Rules. Please pay particular attention to the whip rule – only BS legal ‘padded’ baton whips will be permitted. There are also new BS rules regarding the use of the whip for 2025 - please make sure you are aware of these.

All classes will be run as a BS Single Phase Competition, a course in two parts with the second part timed. All will jump against the clock immediately after their first round, even with faults unless eliminated. The winner is the rider with the fewest (or zero) faults with the fastest time in the second section.
The organisers & landowners do not accept any liability for damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or personal property.
Hard hats to current BSI Standards must be worn at all times when mounted.
The Organisers reserve the right to alter, add to or cancel any class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason. No misuse of the whip, spurs, equipment or practice fences will be allowed.
Horses/ponies must be 4yrs old and over.
Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to your lorry/trailer.
The Judge’s decision is final.
Please remove all droppings/hay/straw/shavings from the lorry park and driveways. All parking to be in the tiered (student) car park.
An adult must supervise under 18’s at all times.
Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead and cleaned up after.
Warm up arena is limited to 6 horses at any one time. Anyone entering the arena to adjust fences must be willing to do so for all riders.
All venue signs and rules must be obeyed. Non-compliance will result in you being asked to leave.
No smoking anywhere than the designated smoking area next to Sam’s/The Zone.
Safeguarding During Equine Competitions
As we are an educational establishment with residential students we ask you to observe the following safeguarding guidelines whilst you are on site for the duration of the Competition:
• Please be aware that we closely monitor who comes on to the Duchy College site. Do not be offended if you are asked why you are on campus & please explain that you are here to compete or hire the facilities.
• Equine Students will be helping with the competitions. They will be happy to help & answer questions where they can but please be aware they are learning & not permitted to handle your horses.
• Please remain in the Equine Centre areas & lorry park (student car park) for the duration of the competition.
• During the competition, competitors & guests must not access student areas or engage with students outside of the Equestrian Centre under any circumstances. These are the pastures building & restaurant, residential accommodation & the playing fields.
• If anyone has a concern about any students during the competition please report to a member of Equestrian Centre staff on 07815 482313 8am - 4pm or the Accommodation Team on 07773 367483 outside of this time.
