80cm/90cm/1m are also qualifers for the British Eventing winter series arena eventing final
Competitors who qualify for the Championships at Aston Le Walls will receive a Championships qualification email from the BE Office on receipt of the results at BE from the qualifying venues. Upon receipt of the qualification email competitors will have 14 days to become a member (minimum PAYG) of BE to retain their qualification. Failure to do this will result in the qualification being passed down the line to the next placed combination that have not already qualified. Qualifying period is between 1st October and mid February.
Qualification is as follows:
For 80cm & 90cm classes
• below 15 starters in a class > top 4 qualify
• up to and incl 30 starters in a class > top 6 qualify
• 31 or more starters in a class >top 8 qualify
For 100 cm class
• below 15 starters in a class > top 6 qualify
• up to and incl 30 starters in a class > top 8 qualify
• 31 or more starters in a class >top 10 qualify
British Eventing reserve the right to increase the number of qualifying places from Arena Eventing Qualifiers.
70cm/80cm/90cm are alos qualifiers for the NPS/Anthony Evans Arena Eventing challenge Final in September 2025
Qualification will be gained by achieving a top 10 placing qualifying class.
No membership needed to qualify, but owner must become NPS member compete in the final (Life, Qualifying or Performance member).
The final is open to mares, geldings and stallions four year old and over, in possession of an equine passport but no specific registration or breed society criteria.
Ponies’ manes may be plaited at competitor discretion.
Any qualification gained in the 60/ 70cm or 80/ 90cm will jump the higher limit in the final.

Under 16s will now have the chance to compete in the new 65cm final.
(Ponies who have qualified in 60cm to 70cm qualifying rounds. Maximum height of fences at the final 65cm. Rider not to have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January in the current year.)

Skull Caps to BE standards must be worn. Hats with a fixed peak are NOT permitted. • XC attire to be worn. Body Protectors are COMPULSORY. You will not be allowed to compete without a body protector and no refunds will be given

In the event of equality, the closest time to the optimum time

No stable refunds will be given after 7 days prior to the show
Entry alterations for the next day must be done by 4pm
Stabling Information
All stables must be left completely empty and tidy ,if found dirty £50 will be charged to your account
No straw to be used in the permeant stables
No orders for shavings/haylage after 6pm on arrival day
On show days all orders for shavings/haylage must be before 3pm for delivery that day
Muck to be placed in designated muck trailer or areas not at the end of the stable blocks
No splitters to be used on hook up
Prize Information
Rosettes can be collected outside the office unless the class has an in-ring presentation
Prize money will be paid the week after the show, YOU MUST FILL IN A PRIZE MONEY FORM FROM THE OFFICE

All competitors take part at their own risk and are expected to exercise due care at all times and obey all notices placed for their control.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after
The organiser reserves the right to alter the schedule, refuse entry and to cancel a class.
No lunging in arenas .
Warm up in designated area only.
Practice fences must be jumped in the correct way as flagged and also must not be higher than the class being jumped.
Please pick up your muck before leaving.
No horse/pony under 4 years of age may compete.
Any complaints must be made to the secretary, in writing and within 30 minutes of the class finishing along with a fee of £50.
No lorries to be mucked out onto the car park
No horses to be left unattended and tied to the outside of their lorry/trailer
No Horses to be left in their lorry/trailer overnight
No responsibility can be taken by the organisers for any accident or damage to competitors, attendants, animals, spectators, or their property, or vehicles of any description. By entering this competition, the exhibitor of any horse or pony accepts that Chard Equestrian, the organiser or any of the officers of the show will not be held responsible or accountable for anything that may happen from any cause or circumstance whatsoever to any persons, exhibitors or their servants or to any animal or article or property brought into the show ground.
