This is a practical workshop which will give you the skills to improve your course design in coaching sessions.
The day will include practical course building and observation of horse and rider. It will cover topics including
- Coach guidance for course design, including measuring distances safely, positioning of fences and correct use of materials
- Safety considerations when building fences
- Designing courses at various levels
The provisional schedule for the day is below. This is subject to change and a final timetable will be circulated to attendees prior to the event.
9:30am – Arrive
10am - Course design basics
11am - Guided course walk and practical course building
1pm – Lunch
1:30pm – Observation of ridden course
3pm – Discussion
3:30pm - Finish

This day will cover both classroom and practical observation sessions with the opportunity for questions and discussion. If minimum numbers are not met by the close of bookings on 16th February the event may be cancelled. If you are interested in attending, please book before this date.
