Come As You Are, Winter Virtual Dressage Series
Want a chance to compete over winter without having to be stuck in the cold or wet all day? Then look no further! No need to plait or wear show gear and you can choose when you film your test within a time window.
How does it work?
There will be 3 virtual events. Each event will have 3 tests (intro, prelim & novice) and a date in which you must submit your video by (see below). - Tests will then be marked and sheets/rosettes will be available for all classes.
Taking part in each event will also win you points and at the end of the series prizes will be awarded to combinations with the most points!
When are they running?
1 - Entries to be submitted by Monday 25th November 2024
2 - Videos to be submitted by Monday 27th January 2025
3 - Videos to be submitted by Monday 24th March 2025
What are the tests?
All tests are BRC tests. -
What do I need to wear?
Smart dress preferred and riders should be wearing hats to an appropriate safety standard as well as boots and gloves.
What are the tack rules?
Normal BRC tack rules per the BRC Handbook (see attached document). With the exception that any bit is permitted for this virtual dressage competition.
Filming instructions
Videos should be taken from C, ideally in landscape format. Please announce your name, your horses name, the test you and riding and the month you are submitting your test for.
Videos must not be edited. Callers are permitted but instruction is not permitted.
Entry fees
Members - £8 per test Non-members - £10 per test Entries via horsemonkey - you will need to film your video before entering online so you can upload the video.
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED.
