Notes

This Dressage Test Riding Day is for anyone, but will be of particular interest to those preparing for the National Championships.

Come along to practice your dressage test in preparation for the RoR Championships.

Only open to registered ROR’s including those who are starting their competition journey as well as those heading off to the ROR Championships.

This will be an educational session for both horse and rider with the arena decorated. You will gain further techniques along with tactics on how to enhance your performance in the competition arena.

Each rider will be able warm up on their own, followed by an allocated time to ride through a dressage test of their choice. Riders will ride through their test which will be marked. They will then have feedback, work on a variety of movements then ride through the test again.

You can select a Long or Short arena test

The test riding session will be a 30 minutes.

Score sheets and rosettes will be given to you on the day.

Test will take place outside with optional indoor working in.

£35 per person which includes arena hire

The event is being run by RoR coaching favourite Sarah Huntridge.

Sarah is a British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor, BHS Stable Manager, UK Coaching Certificate Level 2 and British Dressage Level 5 Judge.
Sarah has been based at the Yorkshire Riding Centre for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience coaching all levels. She has also previously worked for British Dressage as the Northern Region Development Officer. During this time she achieved her UKCC Level 2 and became a listed judge.
Sarah's ethos is to encourage riders to be the best that they can be, gain confidence and enjoy a harmonious partnership with their horse. She is happy to coach all levels from those having a go at their first dressage test to those aiming for competitions.
