Alan is with us at camp and will also host a session covering his career and the opportunities and support offered by the British Grooms Association. Open to all, but will be of particular interest to those already working with horses, considering a future career or employers in the region.
Tea and coffee provide with your ticket. This event is subsidised by BD funds and the College.
Renowned groom Alan Davies has travelled around the world caring for Britain's brightest equine talents at the Olympics, World and European Championships, dedicating his career to making sure that those under his care are happy and healthy wherever they are; be in in the stable, or shining on the greatest stages. Alan's attention to detail and devotion to horses is second to none; In 2015 he was awarded Team GB Groom of the Year, in 2016 won the Horse & Hound Groom of the Year award and the FEI recognised his talents the FEI Best Groom award in 2017. From twelve years spent as Head Groom for Carl Hester, to his earlier career opportunities in showing, jumping and eventing, Alan's skills and knowledge provide the perfect inspiration to those aspiring for the highest levels of horse care.

In the event where an event is oversubscribed, and where your place can be filled, then a full refund (less £2.50 administration fee) may be given up to 3 days prior to the event.
Amendments to bookings in the 3 days prior to the event are non-refundable and any changes are subject to the organisers’ discretion.
