Parking in Auction Mart Carpark.
Current Standard hat must be worn by every rider and juniors (under 18) must wear body protectors. Please check BHS website for up to date 2024 standards. Spot checks will take place.
Competitors must wear competition gear
Any tack is permitted, however training aids such as draw reins will not be permitted in the

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Warm up will be outside, weather permitting, only six competitors will be allowed in the warmup at once. No lunging. No standing horses in the warmup or on the walkways. All horses in warmup must be mounted.
Stallions must be identified by a stallion disc and must be parked away from other competitors
Toilets are adjacent to the indoor arena. Catering van will be in attendance
First Aiders will be attending the event. In the event of a fall you must be seen by a member of the first aid team and you will be asked to fill in an accident form.
Excessive use of whip and/or spurs will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave the event. Junior riders are not permitted to wear spurs.
Course will be available for walking from 9.45am till 10:00am Sunday morning and during the 10 minute breaks between classes whilst the fences are being adjusted. The course will remain the same throughout the day just the heights and fillers will be changed.
All classes will be single phase. The last six fences will be timed.
4 faults will be awarded for each knockdown, circling, crossing tracks or refusal. Third refusal will result in elimination. Fall of horse or rider will result in elimination. Failure to go through the start or finish will result in elimination.
Places to fifth, keepsake trophies to winners. Mounted prizegiving after each class with the exception of the clear round classes.
Please only enter a maximum of two consecutive height levels competitively, eg if you are competeing in the 60cm class you can only enter either the 50cm or the 70cm class as well. You can however enter any level clear round or compete at anoter level HC.
Clear round classes - each clear will receive a rosette
All competitors must identify themselves with their competitor number. This can be on the bridle, saddlepad, arm or back. Homemade numbers are acceptable. AVRC will not be supplying numbers on the day.
Running order will be published before the event with approx class times.
Once running order has been published no refunds or transfers will be processed.
Dogs are welcome in the car park but must be on a lead at all times and must be cleaned up after.
Dogs are not permitted into the venue itself with the exception of assistance dogs.
