Part of a series based on what YOU want to learn about horse care! Clipping, trimming, handling, wound care - tell us what you'd like to learn and we'll set up the workshop.
This sessions focus will be an introduction to clipping, theory around reasons for clipping, different types of clips, clipping for medical purposes, including clipping feathers and leg care and how to care for a horse after clipping all while maintaining safe practices throughout.
You will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience giving clipping a go yourself.
This workshop is for everyone from people who have never clipped before to more experienced people for CPD. Emily will cover the learning outcomes relating to clipping for British Horse Society Stage 3 care.
You will need to bring hard hats and appropriate footwear.
Led by our very experienced stable manager and qualified APC, BHS Stage 3 coach – Emily Stewart.
