Winter Indoor SJ Series 1
8th September 2024
Classes will be split into 2 sections a) Ponies b) Horses (except class 6). Rosettes will be given 1st- 6th in each section. Points and prizes will be awarded OVERALL in each class.
Class 1 60cm – Restricted to those not to have won more than twice at this height or above
Class 2 70cm – Restricted to those not to have won more than twice at this height or above
Class 3 80cm – Open
Class 4 90cm – Open
Class 5 1.00m – Open
Class 6 1.10m – Open, Horses and Ponies will run together in this class.
Entry Fee - £14 per class for early bird entries made on Horse Monkey by 12 NOON MONDAY 2nd September. Entries will be accepted on Horse Monkey until 12 NOON FRIDAY 6th September @ £16 per class.
NO entries will be accepted on the day.
Times will be available on Horse Monkey by 9pm Friday 6th.
Combinations may enter a maximum of 3 classes
· Riders will jump a course of approx. 10-12 SJ fences
· It will be run as Single Phase - First phase: 5 to 6 obstacles not against the clock with a time allowed. Unless eliminated, continue straight on to the second phase without a bell being rung. Second phase: 5 to 6 obstacles which may be higher than the first phase, (maximum 12 obstacles in all). Competitors placed on total faults from both phases and time in second phase.
· The competitor with the fewest penalties and fastest time in the second phase wins.

Whip use: excessive use of the whip, including repeated slapping down the shoulder, is prohibited. The whip may be used a maximum of three times during any round. Use of the whip will be monitored and excessive use may result in elimination at the discretion of the judges. NO SCHOOLING/DRESSAGE WHIPS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME.
Hair/Piercings: Hair must be above the collar with long hair secured in a hair net. All piercings must be removed.
NO HAYNETS TO BE TIED TO THE OUTSIDE OF LORRIES/TRAILERS
WINTER SERIES
Riders will be awarded points for being placed overall in classes providing there are 6 starters in the class.
If there are 3-5 starters in the class then less points will be awarded, if less than 3 starters no points will be awarded for placings but 2 points will be given to double clears.
1st – 6 points (3 points if between 3&5 starters)
2nd – 5 points (2 points if between 3&5 starters)
3rd – 4 points (1 point if between 3&5 starters)
4th – 3 points
5th – 2 points
6th – 1 point

The Café
Our Café will be open serving hot and cold food and refreshments. Cash and card payments are accepted but there is a minimum £5 spend for card payments.
ISEC Rules and Regulations
Horses/Ponies must not be left unattended tied to the outside of trailers/lorries
NO HAYNETS TO BE TIED TO THE OUTSIDE OF LORRIES/TRAILERS
Please ensure that you do not muck out your horsebox onto the Car Park.

NO DOGS in centre buildings
All competitors, parents/guardians and helpers must ensure that they act courteously to stewards and officials at all times. Rudeness will not be tolerated.
Hats must be worn at all times when mounted and must comply to the current BETA Standards – Random Hat checks may be carried out.
