Have a 45 minute private lesson with Zara. She will work with your training goals whilst will bring something new to your training, working on your effectiveness in the saddle to improve your horses way of going. You can run through a test, work on particular flatwork movements or work over poles and jumps if you prefer.

Terms and Conditions for RoR event booking and participation – Updated August 2024
1. For ridden events your horse must be registered with RoR and riders must be 15 years of age on the 1 January of the current year.

1. For ridden events your horse must be registered with RoR and riders must be 15 years of age on the 1 January of the current year.
2. Participants MUST have their own Personal Liability Insurance Policies.
3. It is an express condition of everyone entering the venue that they do so at their own risk and voluntarily accepts the risk of injury or damage that is implicit in riding or handing a horse on the premises.
4. In accepting these terms and conditions, entrants agree to make themselves familiar with the venue terms and conditions and adhere to any rules or signage for the venue. This includes conditions regarding the vaccination of horses against Equine Influenza.
5. All deposits are non-refundable. No refunds or reductions are offered for arriving late, leaving early, or inability to participate for any reason (such as lame horse/lost shoe).
6. Where the balance/full payment has been made for an event, a refund will be given only if it has been possible to fill your space on the event from a wait list.
7. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the event at any time, in which case refunds will be given. Should the organiser be forced to cancel an event the entry fee will be refunded. The organiser will not accept any contingent liability, such as travel, or any cost faced by the participant howsoever incurred.
8. Retraining of Racehorses (RoR), their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event venue, do not accept any liability for any damage, whether occasioned by the negligence or breach of contract or statutory duty of themselves, their servants, agents, employees or those connected with RoR or the venue or the venue's facilities or otherwise, whatsoever.
9. All accidents must be reported, and an Accident Report Form is to be completed by the coach in charge and recorded by a representative of RoR.
10. Dress code is casual, but for ridden events hats to the current standard must be worn. Body protectors are optional for ridden events, except cross country riding when they must be worn to the current safety standard along with a riding hat without a fixed peak.
11. Please be kind and courteous to everyone, behaviour deemed to be unacceptable is to be reported to a representative of RoR and you may be omitted from attending the event if your behaviour contravenes our rules of conduct.

In a private session you can work on a riding a test, particular flatwork movements or over poles and jumps - it's up to you.
Jenni will ensure you a warm welcome by her team at Queach Farm. It's a super relaxed venue with a super surface on the ourdoor school. There is hard standing parking and good access.
If the weather is good we can also have access to a grass field for those of you who may want to experience working your former racehorse on grass with the comfort of an experienced coach to help you.
About Zara Pawley
Currently living in Norfolk, Zara has international experience working with former racehorses. A lesson with her will give you a new take on your riding, as one new client recently said 'wow - my horse started to move so much more freely and was so relaxed during my lessson, I learned so much about the influence I have in the saddle'
Zara is a BD list 4 and FEI Eventing Level 2 Judge. She has judged FEI Eventing here in the UK, Europe and even in Indonesia! She is on various showing panels for Horses and Ponies, having judged at RHIS and HOYS South Africa. Back in 2018 Zara was asked to lead the judges seminar for the indigenous Horse Society of India, in India. Now Zara is in demand in Barbados, India and Argentina to work with former racehorses and their riders from the track to the competiton arena.
Zara has competed Eventing and Show Jumping to a high standard. She teaches to pass on her extensive knowledge, in a way which is friendly and encouraging and very easy to understand. Her love of the former racehorses shines through, especially if they are chestnut!
