Edinburgh Pony Club Summer Camp at Lindores Equestrian. Horses will be stabled on straw (shavings available at extra cost)-no turn out available. Humans will be camping. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of camp. Children must be able to tack up, muckout and care for their own horse in order to be left without an adult at camp. All adults staying at camp must be part of the PVG scheme with Disclosure Scotland through Edinburgh Pony Club (this can be organised through the Edinburgh PC Committee). Horses must have up to date vaccinations for camp. A copy of the passport vaccination page must be submitted with the final payment at least 2 weeks prior to camp.
Hay and straw is included in the cost of camp. If you require a shavings bed, bales can be purchased at £11 per bale.

A body protector is compulsory for all Pony Club Cross Country riding (including Arena Eventing) and Pony Racing activities whether it be training or competition. A body protector for these activities must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label).
The Pony Club Equine Influenza VACCINATION RULE 2024 To protect the health of all horses and ponies and the biosecurity of the venue, the following rules will apply to all Pony Club activities.
1. Passports A valid passport (registered on the Central Equine Database) and vaccination record: • must accompany the horse / pony to all activities • must be available for inspection by the event officials
2. Equine Influenza Vaccination Schedule: No horse / pony may attend an activity, compete or be present as a companion unless it has a Record of Vaccination against equine influenza completed by the veterinary surgeon who gave the vaccination, signed and stamped line by line, which complies with the Minimum Vaccination Requirements. This cancellation policy is applicable to all training events / activities where applications are accepted by the Training Department at The Pony Club Office, including coach, assessor and rider training, with the exception of UKCC courses to which a separate policy applies.
1) All requests for cancellations and/or transfers must be received in writing (by email is accepted).
2) Changes will become effective on the date of written confirmation being received.
3) If a doctor’s note or vet’s certificate is provided the cancellation charge may be waivered, at The
Pony Club’s discretion.
4) The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of your booking, as shown
below.
The initial deposit of £75 is non-refundable in any event.
Calendar days notice before the start of the training Refund applicable:
7 calendar days or more - Refund of all payment made except the initial deposit of 75 (less Horsemonkey booking fees)
Less than 7 calendar days - No refund will be given
Failure to attend Treated as late cancellation and no refund given
In the event of an individual named on the booking form being unable to attend, we will accept
substitution of another person only if the course is full. If the course is not full, the cancellation
charges as above will apply, and the substitute individual will have to pay the normal entry fee.
In the event of cancellation of a course by The Pony Club, we will endeavour to inform all
participants one week before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this
is not always possible. Entry fees paid will be reimbursed or the payment will be transferred to
another similar course, at the applicant’s request. The Pony Club will have no liability to
reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs,
accommodation etc.
