Inspired by our top riders in Paris this summer? If you’re currently competing in unaffiliated dressage, or you want to give dressage a go for the first time, this is the event for you!
Our Have a Go events are designed to give you a taste of British Dressage (BD) competitions and training activity, in an informal setting. You will get the chance to:
- Ride a dressage test and receive verbal feedback plus a written sheet from a BD Listed Judge
- Get support from a BD registered coach in the warm-up
- Receive a commemorative rosette
- Speak to our team about BD membership benefits and competition opportunities
PLUS, everyone who attends will be given a BD Class ticket, giving you the opportunity to try a BD competition for free before signing up to a membership.
All non-members and previous members are welcome to attend, and you can wear training or competition wear.

BD Regional Cancellation Policy for Training Activity
100% Payment is due at the time of booking.
Refunds in full (excluding an administration fee of £2.50 per booking) or a transfer to an alternative date/event/person, can be made up to 10 days prior to the event date.
In the event where an event is oversubscribed, and where your place can be filled,

In the event where an event is oversubscribed, and where your place can be filled, then a full refund (less £2.50 administration fee) may be given up to 3 days prior to the event.
Amendments to bookings in the 3 days prior to the event are non-refundable and any changes are subject to the organisers™ discretion.
BD Regional Cancellation Policy for Judge / Coach Training Events
100% Payment is due at the time of booking.
Refunds in full or transfers to another BD Judge / Coach Training Event can be made 7 days prior to the event date.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the event are non-refundable/transferrable.
