This is a rare opportunity to attend camp for 1 day and is ideal for new members to get a taste of camp or existing members unable to commit to the full duration of camp. Day camp will be held on Tuesday 30th July 2024 and will be a full day event. Exact timings will be published nearer the time but anitcipate this to be roughly 10am-8pm.

Day camp will consist;

  • 2 ridden lessons (coaches are Pauline Herbert and Richard Johnston-Smith
  • 1 dismounted lesson
  • Lunch
  • Dinner (pizza van)
  • Evening enteratinment from the fabulous Les Amis stunt team.
  • Day stable for your equine camper

There are only 4 spaces available which will be allocated on strict first come first serve basis. Book quickly to avoid missing out. 

All horses must be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination provided. 

 

Hat Rule 2024 Members must always wear a protective hat when mounted. The hat standards accepted as of 1st January 2024 are detailed here: https://pcuk.org/media/giyibtuw/hat-rule-2024.pdf

A body protector is compulsory for all Pony Club Cross Country riding (including Arena Eventing) and Pony Racing activities whether it be training or competition. A body protector for these activities must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 Standard (blue and black label).

The Pony Club Equine Influenza VACCINATION RULE 2024 To protect the health of all horses and ponies and the biosecurity of the venue, the following rules will apply to all Pony Club activities.

1. Passports A valid passport (registered on the Central Equine Database) and vaccination record: • must accompany the horse / pony to all activities • must be available for inspection by the event officials

2. Equine Influenza Vaccination Schedule: No horse / pony may attend an activity, compete or be present as a companion unless it has a Record of Vaccination against equine influenza completed by the veterinary surgeon who gave the vaccination, signed and stamped line by line, which complies with the Minimum Vaccination Requirements. Refund policy

  • Up to 10 days prior to rally members who cancel can either ask for a refund (minus Horsemonkey Entries fees) or roll forward the booking to the next rally.
  • Within 10 days of rally no refund, however if there is a waiting list and the place can be filled by another member we will put you in touch with that member to arrange transfer of booking.
  • If adverse weather occurs, which prevents travel, we will attempt to organise a dismounted activity to replace the mounted rally within the same price. Those who do not wish to attend the replacement dismounted rally may either roll forward their booking to the next rally or request a refund (minus horse Monkeyfees).
  • If for any reason the Committee needs to cancel any event a full refund (minus Horsemonkey fees) or roll forward the booking to a future rally will be offered.
