Sandhurst Equestrian Centre is offering a fantastic opportunity to ride around the grounds of the historic Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, including a photo stop on the 'hallowed ground' of Old College Parade Square, before heading onto Barossa Common for a ride around beautiful woodland and heathland.
Both routes will be escorted and will have optional jumping opportunities for every age and ability (with kind permission of the Staff College Drag hunt). The pace will be set to suit all riders, but there are opportunities for some lovely optional canters for those who want to let off the handbrake.
There will be BBQ food available to purchase after the rides.

This ride is run by Sandhurst Equestrian Centre, part of the Armed Forces Equine Charity, in association with the Staff College Drag Hunt. Sandhurst Equestrian Centre is hugely grateful to the hunt for their assistance and support in running this ride.
Terms & conditions
1. All riders must wear hard hats/crash helmets to BS EN 1384 1997 or PAS 015 1998 standards, body protectors are recommended. Medical armbands are optional.
2. Horses and ponies must be at leaat 4 years old.
3. Equine Influenza Requirements: All horses and ponies coming to the Fun Ride must have had their first 2 vaccinations of the course

3. Equine Influenza Requirements: All horses and ponies coming to the Fun Ride must have had their first 2 vaccinations of the course and/or a booster within the last 12 months. 6 monthly boosters are recommended. Passports will be checked.
4. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
5. Children under the age of 12 must be escorted by an adult.
6. Riders must not deviate from the course under any circumstances. Any rider found riding in a reckless or dangerous manner will be asked to leave.
7. The Organisers, Sandhurst Equestrian Centre, and all persons involved with the running of the ride, disclaim all liability for any damage or injury to any persons or property, howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm that you hold appropriate public liability insurance for you and your horse.
8. The decision of the Organisers on any matter shall be final.
9. Riders agree to comply with all instructions from any of the Organisers or Military Personnel at the venue.
10. Should the event be cancelled due to inclement weather or due to reasons beyond the control of the Organiser, refunds will be issued less a £5.00 administration levy.
11. By entering the RMAS Guided Ride, riders agree to these Rules and Conditions of Entry.
12. Data Protection Act 1998: I understand that the information I have given will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 but may also be made available to insurers and other concerned parties in the event of any injury or accident.
Refund policy
Refunds up to 7 days before the event. The booking fee is non-refundable.
