Notes

Join us at the National Training Centre for two CPD events focused on developing the future of our sport.

1st October - Young Horses

This will be a practical day progressing through the different age categories from 4 to 7 year old horses. The sessions will be delivered by Matt Lanni, covering exercises suitable for horses at each age and the skills developed at each stage. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.

2nd October - Youth Riders

This day will focus on the skills needed by youth riders to help them progress in the sport. The day will be split into two parts.

A practical demonstration from Nicola McLeish which will give you skills and exercises which you can take back to your lessons.

A classroom based session with Strength and Conditioning Consultant Neil Lewis. This will focus on the movement patterns riders need to develop to succeed in show jumping and reduce the risk of injury. This will be an interactive session which will provide you with knowledge and exercises to support your riders.

There is a £10 discount automatically applied at the checkout for British Showjumping Coaches who book both days.

Limited accomodation is available onsite at the Training Centre, for more information and to book please contact sportteam@britishshowjumping.co.uk
