Notes

Aintree Qualifier Rules:

  • you can only qualify for 2 classes
    • Example, if you enter 50cm, 60cm and 70cm, and come in the top 6 for each, you can only enter the top two highest height classes e.g. 60cm and 70cm
  • combinations that have competed with British Showjumping after 1st October 2022 at any height above the class that they have qualified for at the Unaffiliated Championships are not eligible to compete
    • Competitor that has jumped 90cm tracks with British Showjumping will not be eligible to compete in the 80cm class at the Unaffiliated Championships

 

 

  • Juniors must be 16 years and under, and riding a PONY 14.2hh and under
  • If you are a junior and riding a HORSE 14.3hh and over, you will automatically be a senior
  • 3 refusals and elimination -> You must leave the ring immediately
  • If you fall off you are eliminated -> do not remount and leave the ring immediately
  • 4 faults per knockdown and refusal
    • Clears will do the jump-off first, then 4 faulters, etc
  • You need to be waiting for your round 2 minutes before at the gate
    • If you are late, you will not be able to compete UNLESS we are running early
  • Prize Money to be collected from the stewards tent after the class

  • All riders should be wearing an appropriate, up-to-standard hat (2024-bhs-event-hat-guide-v1.pdf)
  • All riders must be wearing competition attire
  • All Horses/Ponies must have a 12-month annual flu vaccine -> Spot checks will be taking place throughout the show
  • Any person causing any damage, disruption, or unwanted behavior will be asked to leave th
