Class 19 - 26 Showing Championship
Quest for a Star Championship - TGCA - 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes above may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship as per below rule.
ONLY current TGCA members and horse/pony that is already TGCA registered can exhibit in this championship. Membership card and Members qualification card (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS.
Go for Glory Championship - PB -1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA part bred classes may go forward to the Go for Glory Championship. For 2024 TOYS qualifiers, the handler/rider and exhibits (apart from stallions) do not have to be TGCA members/registered on the date of the show. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Crowning Glory Championships at TOYS.
The Greatest Gelding Award
The award is aimed to encourage the showing of geldings, therefore creating a market for often unwanted colt foals and enabling the creation of a network of potential performance prospects to represent the best Traditional Gypsy Cob breed in the World at the highest level.

Qualification to be awarded no lower than third place if the winning horse has already qualified. At shows where there is no Ride Judge a stand/individual show will be required. Riders will be required to give a short individual show at walk, trot & canter or set show lasting approximately 2 minutes. Change of rein and lengthened strides in trot and canter must be shown. Rein back, (optional) stand still and obedience to the leg. Horses should leave the ring at a walk or trot. Entries will not be asked to jump. If there is both a Ride and Conformation Judge a marking system will be used: Ride / manners marks to be awarded out of a possible 50. Conformation / type assessment marks to be awarded out of a possible 50. When judging classes using the Marks System horses should be stripped for the Conformation Judge. Where there is an equality of marks, the ride marks take precedence, however if there still remains a tie then the Ride Judge’s decision is final. If an exhibitor declines theJudge’s ride the horse will not be placed.

Class N1 - Fancy dress - Best costume. Please ensure children are safe and horse/pony to be handled and/or ridden safely at all times.
Class N2 - Chase me Charlie - This will be a single jump which will start approx 40cm and not exceed 130cm. If you clear the obstacle you move on to the next height. There will be joint winners if more than one combination clear the final height.

General Rules
Horses and ponies are not to come onto the field if their flu injections are not up to date. Only horses and ponies who receive their yearly booster or horses/ponies who are restarting (must be 7days or more after their 2nd injection) will be permitted onto the show field. We may ask to see their passport to check their vaccination record.
