This show is aimed at "midway" riders who are aged 14 or over by 31st December 2023. The aim is to have a friendly supportive show where you can meet some other people, be part of a competition and experience a Championship atmosphere. The show runs for 2 days with a test on each day and the combined scores determining the winner at each level. Music classes will run throughout Friday into a music evening on Friday night. We will be running British Dressage music classes open to everyone and also incorporating a Music Championship open to all those competing over the 2 days with some fantastic prizes.
Preliminary to Advanced Medium classes - Riders are eligible if they have competed 2 or less horses at any level at British Dressage competitions since 1st January 2024.
Prix St Georges to Grand Prix classes - Riders who have competed any number of horses from Preliminary to Advanced Medium, but have only competed 2 horses at PSG or higher at British Dressage or FEI competitions since 1st January 2024.
There are in addition qualifying criteria that must also be achieved and eligibility criteria that must be met, please see www.midwaychampionships.co.uk for further details. All entries for classes 1 - 6 and 11-19 must be accompanied by a biography, in addition classes 11-19 must be accompanied by a qualification declaration. Please complete the online requirements. Entries will be pending until the qualification documents are complete.
The Organisers reserve the right to ballot or split or amalgamate classes as appropriate. The Organisers reserve the right to close classes prior to the closing date. Please do not rely on the number of spaces that are shown as available, these will be amended depending on entries. Classes may not run in the order that they are listed.
Please enter early as classes will be closed if they are full. A full refund (less admin fee) will be given up to close of entries. The refund policy is on the Midway Championships website.
Anyone requiring Hartpury accomodation for either Thursday 22nd or Friday 23rd can book direct with Hartpury. The accommodation link will be on the Midway Championships website as soon as it is available.
Entries open 1st July 2024. Please check that you have read the latest qualifications update before entering. You must have the relevant number of qualifying scores since 1st January 2024 before you enter.

Refund of entry fees (less an administration fee) will only be made up until the closing date. Withdrawals made after the closing date, that can be replaced from a wait list, will receive a refund of 50% (less an administration fee) up until Thursday 15th August 2024. After this date there will be no refunds for any reason even on production of a veterinary certificate or a doctor's note and even if the entry can be replaced from a waitlist. Refunds (less an administration fee) of any extras such as stables, hookups, accomodation, etc will only be made up until 4pm on Thursday 15th August.
Horses may not be substituted in any event.
