All jumping classes will be judged under BS rules.
Riding hats that comply with the current BS safety standards must be worn at all times whilst mounted on the showground.
No horses to be schooled or lunged in the car park or any other areas.
The designated ‘warm up’ arena is the only area to be used to ‘warm up’ horses/ponies. It is not permitted in the showground or car park for safety reasons.
Horses or ponies must not be unattended when tied to the trailer or horsebox.
Hadlow College Equine reserves the right to disqualify and/or ban riders or handlers who display an excessive use of whips and/or spurs, or other training aids.
Hadlow College Equine reserves the right to disqualify and/or ban riders or handlers who use bad language or behave in a poor sporting manner.
Anyone riding or handling in a manner that is likely to endanger themselves and others, will be asked to leave the showground.
The judges’ decision is always final.
Complaints of any nature must be logged in writing with the secretary, with a deposit of £10, within one hour of the class finishing. If the objection is proved correctly, the £10 deposit will be returned.
All entries/competitors must have valid Horse and Rider Insurance including Personal Liability Cover.
Dogs must be kept on leads and under strict control at all times. Owners are responsible for clearing up after their dogs.
All entries/competitors and spectators must comply at all times with Health and Safety notices/rules or instructions given by Hadlow College Equine.
Stallions are not permitted on the showground.
Hadlow College Equine and/or it’s employees accept no responsibility for any accidents or injury to competitors, public, horses or property. Riding is a high-risk sport and is carried out at your own risk.
Hadlow College Equine reserves the right to refuse entry or make changes to a class without stating a reason.
There is to be no mucking out of horse boxes/trailers on the showground and droppings must be picked up and taken away upon exit.
Practice fences will be flagged and must be jumped in the correct direction.
No entries can be refunded after 48 hours before the class is due to begin.
Children under 16 must be not left attended on the showground at any time.
All rubbish must be picked up and disposed of.
Horse/ponies must be suitably vaccinated against equine influenza and tetanus as outlined by BS vaccination regulations. Hadlow College Equine reserve the right to ask for evidence of vaccination, should disease be suspected.
