The Royal Artillery Hunt invite you to attend their escorted trail ride across the chalk downlands of Salisbury Plain. The ride will take place on Saturday 30th March from 10.00am onwards. Three options are availavle for 5km (lead rein), 10km or 15km routes. The event will be stewarded with optional jumps. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment!
Refreshements available at the start and drinks will be available along the route at a designated check-point. Each ride will be split into two groups with a slower pace and a faster pace option for participants. The start times are as follows:
10am - 10km group
11am - 5k lead rein group
1pm - 15km group
Riders of all ages and abilites are welcome. Under 16s must be accompanied - either by another rider, or on foot/bicycle. Ample parking available.
There will be a collection on the day in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (either riding, on foot or on bicycle). Participants are advised to have their own comprehensive rider insurance policy for them and their horse(s). Horses should also be up to date with their vaccinations.

Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (either riding, on foot or on bicycle). Participants are advised to have their own comprehensive rider insurance policy for them and their horse(s). Horses should also be up to date with their vaccinations.
Participants will not be allowed to take part unless they are suitably equipped with helmets that are compliant with one of three international equestrian safety standards or marks: PAS015:2011, VG1 01.040 2014-12 and ASTM F1163:2015. It is also recommended that participants consider wearing an air jacket or body protector due to the uneven ground on Salisbury Plain.
Entrants must arrive in advance of their designated start times. Groups will leave at the planned time. Riders cannot be unescorted on Salisbury Plain.
In the event of a cancellation, participants will be refunded in full for the cost of their entry. Horse Monkey does take a non-refunable booking fee at the point of registration/payment for the event. This cannot be refunded by the organiser(s).
