Eligibility
Senior Camp is open to Area 19 and Area 1 members who are aged 15 or over (as of 1st Jan 2024) and must be riding at C+ level at a minimum. If younger than required age, those under age 15 must have attained their Ridden C+ Efficiency Test as a minimum, but preferably the complete test. Older members who missed taking their C+ or Lunge Test at their Branch, may sit the these tests as a bolt on addition, on the last day of camp. Senior Camp is self catering. We have a camping field and lorry parking. Catering packages and accommodation in the bunk house are available by separate arrangement with Auchlishie Eventing. When filling in Athlete and Horse Bios please give description of your Pony Club Efficiency Test level, your competition level, and any additional information which would be useful for the coaches to know about the partnership. Also any aim for camp which the athlete wishes to achieve.
Horse and rider fitness
Please note, those attending senior training are expected to have fit horses as the schedule is demanding on both horse and rider.
Arrival times
Arrival on Friday afternoon no earlier than 4pm. Training starts early on Saturday morning at 9.30am sharp, please let us know if you plan to arrive on Saturday morning instead.
Stabling and bedding
Stabling is provided with straw stabling bedding supplied. If you wish shavings please bring your own.

Food packages

Photographic Rights
Members and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part in Pony Club events to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of the Pony Club and/or Official Spon

Passport and Vaccinations
A valid passport and vaccination record must accompany the horse/pony to this event and must be available for inspection if required by event officials. Vaccinations must be in accordance with the Pony Club Vaccination Rule 2023.
Withdrawals
Deposits are non refundable unless the place is filled from Waitlist. If a member withdraws prior to the closing date of 1 June, a refund of entry and stabling fees, less deposit and any HM administration charge will be paid. Any withdrawal after the closing date, 1 June, will not be refunded unless a Vet or Doctors note is submitted. Any withdrawal after the closing date, 1 June, will be offered to the waitlist and in the event of the place be taken then a refund of entry and stabling fees, less deposit and any HM administration charge will be paid.
Abandonment
In the event of a competition being abandoned, for whatever reason, a refund of 50% of the entry fee will be given. In such an instance the refund process will be communicated and must be followed.
Legal liability
Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or
his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
Health, Safety & Welfare
Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
