Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, Pelham or simple double bridle with a plain cavesson noseband. Horses should be plaited.
The Series is open to AMATEURS only – those employed in racing will be allowed to compete. Class will be judged under ‘riding horse’ format without ‘type’ being taken into consideration. Racing injuries and blemishes ARE IGNORED in this series
This class is a qualifier for the Tattersalls RoR Amateur Ridden Show Series FINAL.
The Judge will not ride at the qualifiers.
The first three go forward to the final to be held at the Hickstead Derby Meeting, June 23rd 2024
1st prize only will be awarded in RoR qualifiers with numbers forward of two or less, however qualification for the final will stand.

Please note:
1) Both classes are qualifiers for Series Finals and the RoR rules for showing will be adhered to. These rules can be found on the RoR website www.ror.org.uk. The ridden class qualifies for the final at Hickstead in June and the In-Hand class is a qualifier for the RoR National Championships at Aintree in August
2) This is a public event where there may well be a large crowd and quite noisy
3) The arena, the working-in area and the parking are all on grass
4) Horses will not be ridden by the judge but may be stripped for conformation assessment in which case, grooms are required and must wear a safety hard hat with the chin strap fastened whilst in the arena
5) Back numbers will be available for collection from the RoR rep ahead of each class
