4635 Inter County Viewing Day - Suffolk

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀?

We are holding viewing days at 3 venues across Suffolk in March, April and May. Viewing days are open to anyone wishing to be considered for the Suffolk Inter County Team.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱?

Bronze or silver riders at Prelim, Novice or Elementary level provided they fit the criteria - to be released soon

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁

A viewing day is essentially an informal, mini coaching session with one of our supportive and very experienced trainers - Ruth Hurst and Tammy Ruffles.  They usually last half and hour and are individual sessions, we provide a time for you to ride like a normal clinic. During the session you will warm up and work through exercises at your level.

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺?

Yes, subject to numbers, we are keen to engage with everyone. These are great sessions for green horses – do let us know beforehand if you are thinking of coming along. You can bring more than one horse should you wish - please note this when entering.

𝗗𝗼 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀?

Not at all, attendance to one session is fine. Subject to numbers, you can book into more than one viewing day, but we need to give priority to those who haven’t attended a session previously.

𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲?

No, just wear what you normally would do for training sessions (within BD tack and clothing regulations please).

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆?

The coaches from the viewing sessions meet up with the County Coordinator and select the combinations they would like to see at the next test riding round. You will be informed via email and invited to enter the test riding day, with a view to being selected onto one of the Suffolk Inter County Challenge Teams.
