Introduction to Dressage Show organised by and on behalf of Muirfield Riding Therapy to raise funds for therapy riding.
Being held at West Fenton arena by kind permission of The Morrison Family.
The show is generously sponsored by Caledonian Horticulture, presenting trophies to the Highest BD Dressage Score and Highest RDA Dressage Score.
Outdoor warm up and indoor test for all classes.
Classes 4 and 5 - able bodied riders will warm up on grass, RDA riders will warm up in the outdoor school.
Class numbers may be limited to ensure completion of the show at a reasonable time.
1. All horses / ponies to be aged 4 years and over.
2. Horses may not be entered in more than 3 classes / 2 tests per rider.
3. Dogs must be on a lead at all times and kept away from any horse / pony.
4. This competition is run under British Dressage and RDA rules, back numbers will be supplied if necessary.
5. A hard hat to PASO15 (2011), SNELL E2
1. All horses / ponies to be aged 4 years and over.

4. This competition is run under British Dressage and RDA rules, back numbers will be supplied if necessary.
5. A hard hat to PASO15 (2011), SNELL E2016 and E2021, ASTM F1163 (2015), AS/NZS 3838 (2006) and WHICH MUST ALSO BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE RESPECTIVE OFFICIAL KITEMARK. The chin strap must have a non-detachable retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points. Any rider found to be using a hat to a lower specification will be disqualified.
6. Neither the organisers of this event, nor any person acting on thier behalf, the owners of the showground or agents acting on their behalf, accept any liability for the loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever. Riders should have their own third party insurance (MRT riders are covered by RDA insurance)
7. Rosettes 1st to 6th place in all classes.
8. Closing date is Monday 11th March at 9pm. No late entries.

9. The judge's decision is final. Any complaints must be made in writing to the secretary accompanied by £20 and the complaintmust be made within one hour of the incident.
10. Entry fees will only be reufnded if the show is cancelled. An administration fee may be taken from each competitor. No refunds after the closing date.
11. Dressage tests may be read.
12. Cantering is allowed only in the practice and competition areas.
13. The organisers reserve the right to combine or split classes according to entries with results determinded on a percentage basis.
14. There will be a limited number of entries available in each class.
15. We ask that the horses are fully vaccinated against equine flu, preferably within the last six months, and that passports be available for inspection by an MRT official.
16. Dress code is light or dark jodphurs (single colour), shirt (with tie or stock) and dark jacket / tweed jacket / blazer. Refer to British Dressage Rulebook 2024 Rules 78, 82 and 83.
17. The venue, including the parking area must be left clean and tidy. Please ensure you remove all hay / droppings / litter etc.
