British Eventing ACE Competitions Rules

1. Qualification is for combinations only.

2. If a combination is qualified in all heights, their Championship entries will be limited to the 2 higher levels.

3. The course consists of 6 to 8 show jumps, followed immediately by 8 to 10 knock down cross-country fences, including a skinny, corner and joker fe

British Eventing ACE Competitions Rules

1. Qualification is for combinations only.

2. If a combination is qualified in all heights, their Championship entries will be limited to the 2 higher levels.

3. The course consists of 6 to 8 show jumps, followed immediately by 8 to 10 knock down cross-country fences, including a skinny, corner and joker fence.

4. The whole round will be timed.

5. The winner will be the combination with the lowest number of penalties.

6. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the closest to the optimum time.

7. The optimum time is calculated based on 350m per minute.

 8. Stop watches are not permitted.

 9. A body protector is compulsory for all classes

Qualification as follows:

For BE70, BE80 & BE90: • Below 15 starters in a class > top 4 qualify.

• Up to and incl. 30 starters in a class > top 6 qualify.

• 31 or more starters in a class > top 8 qualify.

For BE100: • Below 15 starters in a class > top 6 qualify.

      • Up to and incl. 30 starters in a class > top 8 qualify.

      • 31 or more starters in a class > top 10 qualify

• No space will be reserved without the appropriate fee being paid
• Cancellations made less than 3 weeks (14 days) before the event will not be refunded. However, at our sole discretion if the event is oversubscribed and we can re-allocate the clinic space then a transfer or refund maybe considered.
• Bogenraith Equestrian Ltd reserves the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the Competitions as they see fit due to weather conditions etc.
• Bogenraith Equestrian Ltd will not be held liable for any losses suffered from cancelled or amended bookings.
• Once an entry has been made, withdrawal will entail forfeiture of that fee. No refunds will be given.
• All unaffiliated events are run under the guidance of affiliated rules-BS BD or BE.

• The decision of the judge is final.
• Neither Bogenraith Equestrian Ltd, not any of its representative or staff, shall be held liable for any accident, injury or damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to any person animal or property at any time.
• We have a wide array of food and drink available to purchase on site. Please do not bring your own food or drink onto the main grounds.
• Please dispose of your litter thoughtfully in bins provided.
• Please do not muck out into car parks. Muck Skips and tools have been provided.
• Please ask organizers before riding on grass. Any lunging is by prior permission only and is never permitted indoors when that is only working in area.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated areas and prohibited around the stable block.
• Strictly no dogs on site.
• Strict Poo picking in all arenas, walk ways and parking areas, if this is not followed a £10 fine will be implemented
• All horses and ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk.
• Bogenraith Equestrian Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to class and show ground.
• Photographers and video teams may attend competitions and events, however competitors and photographers should be aware that by entering an event they are giving their consent to these images being used in print & online by Bogenraith Equestrian Ltd, show sponsors, and in show reports as required.
• Event photography and event reports are an integral part of the competition entered, and entry will constitute acceptance that this is part of the entry contract. We will pass on start lists to event photographers, who may display name, horse name, date and location of competition on photographs displayed on their website. We will also pass on rider contact information to legitimate media contacts for the purpose of writing competition reports.
• Children must be always under strict adult supervision.
• All competitors/riders must wear correctly fastened hats to current approved safety standards and be correctly and appropriately dressed at all times when riding.
• Formal objections must be made within 30 minutes of event, accompanied by a deposit of £25, forfeited if the objection is overruled. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
• Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by and abide by these Rules.
