We are once again thrilled to be holding a spring camp at Somerford Park Farm in Cheshire.
There are only 26 spaces so early booking is advised. If you aren't familair with the facilities at Somerford they really are exceptional. We will have sole access to stable block A which provides 26 Monarch Stables with tack rooms, wash bays and large concrete reception area. We also have the Pavilion, with kitchen, showers, toilets, laundry room and function room,.
We have the sole use of three dedicated Andrews Bowen surfaces located near to the stables, with a full set of show jumps and a dressage arena. We also have unlimited use of the 80 acre Cross Country and Grassroots XC schooling fields. There are ample electrical hookups and picturesque parking areas for overnight accommodation.
It doesn't matter which region you are based in, you will be very welcome to join us - the more the merrier.
We have listened to feedback from those attending this autumn's camp and have changed things slightly. The final coaching line up is to be agreed but we CAN confirm that Lou Robson of Throughbred Dressage has agreed to attend. We will only be booking coaches with a proven track record in working with former racehorses and knoweldge of the discipline for which they are required to teach. Former camp coaches have included David Llewellyn, Hannah Jackson & Andrew Bennie.
The price has been calculated at £355 which takes into account 2024 price rises. It includes:
+ stabling for your horse for three nights and 4 bales of shavings (haylage not included)
+ 5 lessons with top coaches, including one private lesson with Lou Robson
+ full access to Somerford Park farm ride across the 4 days, enabling you to use the ride on the day of arrival and the Sunday afternoon if you wish
+ food throughout for the rider booked on (additional guests can order food seperately)
+ extra activities including equi-pilates instruction, Dengie feeds weighbridge and others to be arranged
Accomodation can be booked in glamping pods on site, or you can stay in your lorry, trailer or bring a tent. Electric Hook Up is available by booking directly with Somerford.
We have added the pre camp form for you to have a look at, these will need to be submitted one month before camp for a full lesson timetable to be planned well in advance. All levels are catered for. We have also attached a camp list to give you an idea of what you will need to bring if you've not done a camp before.
We are starting with a deposit option and smaller payments available, to allow you to spread the cost, or a full payment option for those who wish - please contact us with any questions and read T& Cs for how refunds work if you book but are unable to attend nearer the time.
